Dentistry & Oral Surgery Department Expands
While Dr. Kristin Scott is on maternity leave until May 1, we are proud to welcome board certified dentist, James M. G. Anthony, DVM, BSc (Agr.), MRCVS, FAVD, DAVDC, DEVDC, PAg. Yes, he is very credentialed! Dr. Anthony has been in practice for 30 years and is a member of the American and European veterinary dental colleges. He has been involved in teaching dentistry as a professor, is widely published in veterinary journals and has been active in many local, national and international veterinary and dental organizations.
Dr. Anthony can perform any and all aspects of dentistry and oral surgery. He is a fantastic option for owners who want to save teeth from periodontal disease, endodontic disease or trauma and who want to maintain as much dentition as possible post-op. Examples include cleft palate repair, palate trauma, oral masses, mandibular or maxillary fracture repair, mandibulectomy or maxillectomy, malocclusion correction, root canal therapy with or without crowns, enamel and cavity restorations, and laser surgery (for stomatitis). He can also perform implants and reconstructive facial surgery and he has a lot of experience with exotics (no snakes, please).
We searched a long time for a team member who could help increase appointment availability to our clients and who is experienced, board certified, well-respected and personable. Please help welcome Dr. Anthony to our team!
